Protection against soil erosion

EUROMAT protects the substrate like a real "skin" against erosion caused by precipitation. Its fibrous structure and binding agents absorb the kinetic energy of water droplets (splash effect), reduce the speed of runoff thanks to their absorption capacity, and create a winding path for excess water to drain away.

Protection of water resources

Erosion not only damages the geometry of the structure, but also contributes significantly to water pollution through washed-away sediments. EUROMAT prevents more than 90% of sediments from entering the runoff water directly.

Quick and efficient lawn establishment

EUROMAT is used together with seeds. Its matrix structure provides an ideal environment for seed germination and dense, homogeneous lawn establishment. Its fibrous structure prevents the seeds from shifting, ensures direct contact with the soil and reduces water stress thanks to its "mulching" effect.
