Protection against erosion

EUROMAT acts as a genuine protective layer, protecting the substrate from erosion caused by precipitation. Its fibrous structure and binding agents absorb the kinetic energy of water droplets (splash effect), reducing the speed of runoff while providing a winding path for excess water to drain away.

Protection of water sources

Erosion not only damages structures, but also causes significant water pollution through washed-away sediments. EUROMAT prevents more than 90% of sediments from entering the runoff water directly, thus protecting water quality.

Support for grassing

EUROMAT is applied at the same time as the seed mixture. Its fibrous structure provides an ideal environment for seed germination and the formation of a dense, uniform turf layer. It anchors the seeds directly to the soil, while the "mulching" effect reduces water stress and ensures moisture retention.
