During the most critical periods of the year – high evaporation, extreme temperature fluctuations or winter cold close to freezing point – fertilizers with a high potassium content help plants defend themselves against wilting while maintaining the metabolism that is vital for their survival.

Potassium ions directly influence water movement, regulate pore opening and closing, and ensure cell turgor pressure. When applied in the right amount, it is the best companion for plants, preparing them for the most difficult conditions.

THERMO fertilizer is ideal for the summer months as it contains only moderate amounts of nitrogen – exclusively in the form of slow-release N-methylurea. This meets the reduced nutrient requirements of the lawn (due to its slowed metabolism caused by high temperatures) without feeding summer weeds.

Phosphorus has also been completely excluded from the formula, so it does not help existing weed seeds to take root. This "no weeds" philosophy guarantees that the lawn remains clean, dense and healthy – despite all climatic adversities.
